Unless you like extra chocolate sprinkles on your strawberry cheese cake I would steer clear..

“Unless you like extra chocolate sprinkles on your strawberry cheese cake I would steer clear”, says an anonymous user on NY1’s website.

In October of 2009 all of NYC was made aware of the incident that led Junior’s Restaurant to face Health Department Violations, this due to a photograph of a mouse lingering along the cheesecake display in Brooklyn’s own Junior’s Restaurant. According to NY1, several inspections and five months later this location has been experiencing a rapid decline in customers and in result, profit.

While inspecting this location and the area in which this Junior’s Restaurant resides it has come to the Health Department’s attention that there have been mice in the food establishments in the vicinity of Junior’s as well. Due to the evidence of mice found in these restaurants there were continuations of inspections and violations issued.

The owner of Junior’s Restaurant has claimed when he was first made aware of this incident he took “immediate reaction.” Along with this claim he informs NY1 and anyone else that reports on this story that this was an “alleged isolated incident.”

“Alleged or not you won’t catch me eating anything from there anymore! YUCK, it just makes me squirm every time I think about it.” This comment was provided by Fatima Morgan, a cheesecake fiend.

Customers like Fatima have been completely turned off by this incident and this establishment and I’m sure will NEVER return.
With this in mind what will happen to Junior’s Restaurant located in Brooklyn? Do we even care?
